Wow I have been a major slacker. So much has happened in the past 2 months. On September 16, we had Race's blessing in Beaver. It was a really special day and Tyler did an awesome job on the blessing. My cousins blessed their baby Addisynn too so we had lots of family and friends there. We are so lucky to have all the love and support that we do.
Race is growing like a weed. I almost cried when I had to put a whole box of clothes away. He has the cutest smile and is still the happiest baby. His personality is starting to show and he is so fun. He is almost 4 months old and has learned some new tricks. He has rolled over a couple of times, has started laughing, likes playing with toys, and likes being on his tummy. Race really is the best baby and we love him so much!
We bought a house in October and love it. It is so nice to be in our own house and we are slowly getting stuff put away and organized. At the end of October Race and I were able to go to Reno for a week to watch my cousins while my aunt and uncle went to Florida. I was a little nervous about flying with Race, but he did so good. We had so much fun in Reno and Race was spoiled with attention from his cousins. Little Bryndee was my little helper and she loved being with Race. She called his binky "pinky" and it was so cute. We are looking forward to Thanksgiving and seeing all the cousins again.
We had a fun Halloween but it was pretty low key. Race got his dinosaur costume on and we headed up to grandma and grandpa's house and that was it. Here are a ton of pictures hope you like them.

Race 2 months
Race had his 2 month check up yesterday and he is growing like a weed.
Height: 24 1/2 in. 99 percentile
Weight: 10 lb. 15 oz. 60 percentile
I can't believe how big he is. He is so smiley and talks our ear off. Race still loves the bath but is too tall for his baby bath. He does not like to take naps :(. But he sleeps okay at night. His hair is starting to grow back and is getting cuter and cuter everyday.
Some other exciting news is that we got a house! We have been looking for quite awhile and we finally found one. They accepted our offer and now we just have to get all the other things taken care of. It is in Layton and we are really excited for this new change.

Race and his parents
Since Race is already 6 weeks old I better catch up on our lives. Race is the cutest baby ever, but I might be a little biased. He is such a good baby. He has been smiling from the day we brought him home and is just happy all the time. Race loves the bath and would stay in there all day if I would let him. He weighs 10 lbs. and can finally wear some 0-3 clothes. He does awesome riding in the car and we have made 3 successful trips down to Beaver. He sure is spoiled everywhere we go. He likes anybody and loves to smile and talk. He is changing everyday and has lost almost all of his hair. We sure do love this little guy.
I know no one wants to hear about Tyler and I but hey we are still here too. We are living up in Fruit Heights in a house that we are renting from a couple that went on a mission. Tyler got a job at the Utah State Tax Commission as a miscellaneous tax auditor. He really likes his job an is doing so great. He just started the masters program at SUU and will be done in about a year. I got my teaching license but I am just staying at home with Race. I am going to try to be better at blogging but I can't make any promises. Here are a ton of pictures of Race to see how much he has grown. Warning pictures are not in order. The balder he gets the older he is:)

Introducing Race T Moss
I am a little late since he is 6 weeks old, but better late than never. So here is the story. On Sunday, July 15, I started having contractions around 3 am and I just thought it was a weird pain and eventually went back to sleep. Tyler had drill and when he woke up to go I was having contractions 5 minutes apart. My family was in Las Vegas so we called my mom and she freaked out and told us we better go to the hospital. I was so afraid they would send me home so I took my time showering and getting ready. We finally made it up to McKay Dee and luckily I was dilated to a 3 and they admitted me. My contractions were getting pretty bad so I got an epidural right away and I was in heaven! I was also given pitocin and I was progressing about 1 centimeter an hour. My family made it up to Ogden from Vegas in about 5 1/2 hours. Ye they were speeding. I made it to 7 centimeters around 3 pm, but after that the baby did not like the pitocin and I stopped progressing. Around 6 I was still at a 7 and the baby had not dropped so we had to choose to try pitocin again or do a c-section. We decided since the baby did not like the pitocin to do a c-section. I was on the operating table within 5 minutes and we had a beautiful baby in 30 minutes. The poor little guy was stuck and had a large cone head. Race T Moss was born on July 15 at 7:02 pm. He weighed 7 lbs. 15 oz. and was 21 in. long. He had tons of dark hair and was long and skinny. He had a rough journey and all he wanted to do was sleep. He was such a good baby and everyone was fighting over him and he loved every minute of it. He

Big Changes In The Moss Family
Not only are we having a baby, graduating from college, but we are moving. I never thought that I would leave Southern Utah but Tyler got a pretty sweet job with the Utah State Tax Commission. He will work in Salt Lake and we are going to live up in Fruit Heights. I was not looking forward to moving at all. I was really stressed out about where we were going to live because I love Cedar City. We went up to look for places to live and I just wanted to cry because all we could find were really shady apartments or apartments that would cost an arm and a leg to rent. Luckily our prayers were answered and a sweet couple who is going on a mission just happened to run into Tyler's dad and we are going to rent their house while they are gone. Tyler will start his new job on June 4th and they leave May 28th. Pretty crazy how it all worked out but now I am a little more excited to move. The house is amazing and it will be so nice to have a backyard to hang out in. Granted I am so worried about finding my way around I mean Cedar is the biggest place I have ever lived. I have come to learn though when you make the right decisions things just tend to fall into place. Graduation is only a couple weeks away and we are so excited!
We Are Having A?
I am so horrible at blogging but since my life has slowed down I thought I better get caught up. Well most everyone has heard but we are having a BOY!!! We are super excited. Since my family is all girls this little boy is going to be spoiled rotten. We found out about 2 months ago and have started getting the cutest stuff for the little guy. Right now I am 27 weeks and will go in for another ultrasound in 2 weeks. We can't wait for our little guy to get here and I just hope time flies by.

What We Have Been Up To?
Well it has been forever since I have posted anything and a lot has happened. First off WE ARE HAVING A BABY! We are so excited. Our little one will be here somewhere around July 16. In a couple of weeks we will be able to find out what we are having. I think we will have a boy and Ty thinks it is a girl. Either one will be fine though ;). I feel like I have been really lucky because I have not been that sick. Knock on wood.
Well other than that we just started our last semester of school for our bachelors degree. YAHOO! I am student teaching and I am loving it. I am teaching 5th grade and couldn't ask for a better class. These 5th graders have the funniest personalities and there is never a boring moment. I will be in 5th grade for another 3 weeks and then it is off to 1st grade. I really can't believe that I am almost done and it is kind of sad. I am just enjoying my time and I really do look forward to going to school everyday.
Ty is just working away and going to school. He really is the best. He works so hard and never complains. I am so thankful for him and everything he does for me. Ty is still working up at Kohler and Eyre as a staff accountant and really likes doing tax.
It is our favorite time of the year not because of the snow but because of basketball. My sister Brielle plays for Beaver and we love to go and watch the games. I have finally converted Ty into a true Beaver. He yells more at the refs than I do. I kind of feel bad for Tyler because all my family does is watch and talk about girls basketball. But oh well that is our life. Next time I blog hopefully we will know if we are having a girl or a boy until then goodbye.
